My friend got me started on cross-stitching last night. It’s a lot of fun, but I have to finish my scarf before I can get back to it.
My hands are too cold to knit right now.
Solution: beer.
Switching colors. Like a boss! Seriously though, knitting is so much fun y’all. And I’m really loving these center-pull skeins. Super convenient.
Got myself two center-pull skeins that I wrapped myself for my next project. I’m making another scarf, this one being a birthday gift for a friend. My goal is to finish it by this weekend since that’s when I’ll be seeing him next.
Finally finished my scarf! It’s almost 5ft long, 7.5in wide, and quite warm.
Here’s the progress I’ve made on my project I started on Sunday. I decided to turn it into a scarf for my mom for Christmas. I haven’t been able to knit today because I’m sick so everything hurts right now.
The scarf is about 1ft 10in long right now and my goal is to finish up the ball of yarn on the right.
Here’s a TARDIS stocking I made, inspired by this post on the Doctor Who tumblr.
Just keep knitting.
Just keep knitting.
Just keep knitting, knitting, knitting…
I think I’m finally getting a hang of this whole knitting thing.
I believe I’ve been doing my knit backwards. Instead of wrapping the yarn around the needle counter-clockwise, I’ve been wrapping it clockwise. D’oh! I’ll practice the apparently correct method tomorrow and report back with results.
